What's going on in

November

This month is time of preparations and shows we will as much as possible try to keep you up to speed of our goings on

tomorrow 2nd Nov we will be selecting and cutting flowers to be prepared for the Late National at Stafford so we will post pictures and video's on this page tomorrow night and as far as possible give as much info as we can 

today 1st Nov all pots were watered in preparation for the cutting of the flowers tomorrow also the racks were brought out of storage and bottles filled in rediness for the flowers.

well the early snow has landed in Ashington and other NE areas deep joy NOT

BA! HUMBUG

Picture Poscard stuff and really that is where it should be

anyway onto the work at hand today we riddled the pots that were

used for all Late cultivars and they were duly bagged picture shows pots emptied and on the riddling bench ready to start

Well the national

we managed a 1st in the 5X3s

and a 2nd place in the 5X5s

Preparation for

Hexham Gardening Show

Primrose Kath Stephenson will be taking a vase of 5 and a Vase of 3 for the 3X3s

Also a Vase of the above Salmon Kath Stevenson and the final vase will be Rose

All Cultivars chosen Cut and all stems Cane in readiness for dressing

Petals removed to give the Cultivar alround even and approx 4 layers

to give as perfect centre as we can get.

Dressed and tops put on overnight they will be taken of for the journey

14th Nov

House No.1

All decs cut down and stools removed to the outside tunnel rest of stools

removed and soil in pots again to the tunnel

all thats left now are the Medium Singles and with 1 show to go namely Northern Group

that will bring to an end our season any flowers left will be given to various sources

Our stools of cultivars that we will be growing next year.

the stools still in the cold frames and coming on nicely
